ZESONG | Brand Story

ZESONG is an independent craft brand founded by me, Zesong, a Fine Arts graduate with a deep passion for traditional Chinese craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Before creating this brand, I immersed myself in watercolor, oil painting, ink painting, printmaking, and ceramics—each discipline showing me the transformative power of culture and craftsmanship.

After graduation, I spent several years working in the hospitality industry. Those years strengthened my sense of responsibility, operations, and customer service. Yet the dream of building something rooted in Chinese heritage never left me. Eventually, I chose to pursue it fully, and with my own savings, I founded ZESONG.

China is home to countless traditional crafts—Dian Cui (kingfisher feather inlay), cloisonné enamel, tie-dye textiles, lacquerware, and shadow puppetry.

Each carries centuries of artistry, yet many remain unfamiliar to the world today.

ZESONG was established to help these crafts be seen, understood, and appreciated globally.

We work with selected artisans and trusted workshops across China who specialize in these traditional techniques. All products are designed or curated by us, quality-checked by our team, and packaged and fulfilled directly under the ZESONG brand.

To ensure transparency for every customer:

• Products are crafted by independent artisans or partner workshops in China.

• ZESONG oversees product selection, design direction, quality inspection, and final packaging.

• Orders are shipped directly from our fulfillment location in China, with international delivery available.

• Customer service, after-sales support, and returns are handled directly by ZESONG.

This business model allows us to protect traditional techniques while offering fair pricing and consistent quality.
